Child safety standards
Totell Inc. Last updated October 30, 2026
Our commitment
totell has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and for child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Content that sexualizes a minor, solicits a minor, or facilitates harm to a minor is prohibited everywhere on totell: sealed messages, profile cards, public posts and direct messages.
Age requirements
totell is for people 16 and up. Every account declares a birth month and year at signup, the declaration is written once and cannot be edited to bypass the gate, and a declaration under 13 deletes the account and its data immediately. We do not knowingly allow anyone under 16 to hold an account.
Prevention
Every anonymous message and public post passes automated screening before it is delivered or shown. Images are screened by an automated content safety service before they are stored. Content that fails screening is refused at send time and never reaches the recipient. Screening fails closed: if the service is unavailable, sending stops rather than letting content through unchecked.
Reporting inside the app
Every card, post, direct message and sealed thread carries a Report action, and senders can be blocked without revealing anyone's identity. Reports can also be sent to hello@totell.com. We review reports within 24 hours. Confirmed CSAE content is removed, the responsible account is terminated, and the evidence is preserved.
Working with authorities
Totell Inc. is a United States company. We report apparent child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) as required by United States law, and we cooperate with law enforcement and other competent authorities in every country where totell is available. We comply with the child safety laws that apply to us, including the laws of the countries where our users live.
Point of contact
Our designated child safety contact can speak to these practices and to our CSAM prevention and compliance: hello@totell.com (Totell Inc.).
