totell SMS notifications
Program description, consent, and opt-out
What triggers a message
totell lets a person send a private, sealed note to someone they know. When the sender chooses phone delivery, the recipient receives a single SMS notification telling them a note is waiting, with a link to open it. The SMS never contains the note's content.
How a phone number enters the system
The sender types the recipient's number in the composer on totell.com (open the site and choose "Write someone a note", then the phone option). This disclosure is shown directly beside the phone field before sending:
"One notification goes to this number with opt-out instructions. Reply STOP to stop. Message and data rates may apply."
Frequency
One notification per sealed note. totell sends no recurring or marketing SMS.
Opt-out and help
Reply STOP to any message to stop all future SMS from totell immediately. Reply HELP for help, or email hello@totell.com. Every first message includes opt-out instructions.
Fees
Message and data rates may apply. totell never charges for SMS.
